Moby unveils remixes of ‘where is your pride?’ by Kilimanjaro and Airrica: Listen
Moby, the renowned electronic musician, producer, and activist, has released two exciting remixes of his track ‘Where Is Your Pride?’. Furthermore, these fresh versions come from electronic producers and DJs Kilimanjaro and Airrica, both of whom bring their unique flair to the original. The original track, a collaboration with and homage to the late Benjamin Zephaniah, dropped as a single in May 2024 and appears on the critically acclaimed album Always Centered At Night, which is out now.
Airrica’s remix delivers an irresistible dancefloor hit, guaranteed to ignite energy in clubs this summer. Meanwhile, Kilimanjaro’s version takes a different approach, stripping the beat down to highlight Zephaniah’s powerful spoken word message. The remix evolves into a potent tribal mantra, gradually building to an intense climax, adding depth to the original’s emotional impact.
Reflecting on his collaboration with Moby, Kilimanjaro said: “It’s an absolute honor to have been asked to remix this record. I’ve been a huge fan of Moby for as long as I can remember. Play was one of the first electronic albums I ever heard, and it completely opened my eyes to what music could be.” Benjamin Zephaniah is an iconic cultural figure, who has contributed immensely to both the creative scene and the Black community. Working with his vocal on this project was a true privilege.”
Moby added, “As a vegan activist, and as a wise and compassionate man, Benjamin Zephaniah has inspired me for many years. I hope that ‘Where Is Your Pride’ honors his legacy while shining a light on his life, work, and principles.”
