Röyksopp enlists Robyn for new single ‘Do It Again’: Listen

As the duo of Röyksopp continues to push towards releasing their latest album, they have shared a new single with an iconic singer. Teaming up with Robyn, fans can now hear the latest track off of their upcoming double LP.

Looking to celebrate their iconic career and live edits, Röyksopp is set to release True Electric, a collection of live edits and remixes. The duo has now shared a new version of their 2014 hit with Robyn, Do It Again. The original was a slow-churning mastery of house and dance music, allowing Robyn’s legendary voice to dominate over a stuttering array of synths and bass. Over a decade later, the track has remained a key moment in the group’s incredible history as evidenced by the response to their 2023 ‘True Electric’ tour. Responding to the strong response, the new True Electric album collects the re-envisioned music from the tour and brings it directly to fans.

For their True Electric edit of Do It Again, Röyksopp has completely re-imagined the original, replacing the pulsing stop-and-start production of the original with a smooth house rhythm. Robyn continues to shine, but she now shares the spotlight more than demands it as the Norwegian duo evolves the single without ripping out the core of its existence. Do It Again (True Electric) ebbs and flows and it is easy to see why Röyksopp connected so well with fans on the 2023 tour. With the album set to release on April 11th, they will embark on a run of North American DJ tour dates in May to celebrate the release.
