Swedish House Mafia featured on exclusive track with The Weeknd
When the Swedish House Mafia began releasing tracks from their debut album ‘Paradise Again,’ their collaboration with The Weeknd served as one of the lead singles. Now the trio has once again teamed up with the pop icon for an exclusive new single.
Between their collaborations, remixes, and last-minute Coachella close-out in 2022, the Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd have shown a strong connection between their art and projects. Having last come together for The Weeknd’s contribution to James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way Of Water, the artists have finally unveiled a new collaboration. As the Swedish House Mafia revealed that they scrapped a planned sophomore album last year, The Weeknd continued to develop his trilogy and close out the project with the release of his latest work, Hurry Up Tomorrow. With different track listings depending on the format, fans need to grab multiple versions to hear all the music written for the project.
Today The Weeknd revealed two limited-edition digital versions of the release, the 00X0 edition, complete with tracks previously only available on physical formats, and the Pharrell Williams edition, offering cover art from Williams and the bonus track Closing Night. Available now for just $4.99, Closing Night is the latest collaboration between the two artists and builds upon the past success of their hit single Moth To A Flame. With no announcement as to whether the track will be available via streaming services, it is currently only accessible by purchasing the exclusive digital copy. Grab the Pharrell Williams edition of Hurry Up Tomorrow to hear the latest single from the Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd.
