Home News Above & Beyond announce fifth studio album ‘Bigger Than All Of Us’

Above & Beyond is set to release their fifth studio album, ‘Bigger Than All Of Us’, marking a return to their signature sound after a seven-year gap since ‘Common Ground’. Scheduled for release on July 18 via Anjunabeats, the album reflects the trio’s enduring connection with fans and their evolution over the years.

Following the success of their 2018 album, which reached #3 on the Billboard 200, Jono Grant, Paavo Siljamäki, and Tony McGuinness explored various musical avenues. They ventured into ambient music with ‘Flow State’, released club-focused tracks under their Tranquility Base alias, and pursued individual projects. Grant collaborated with Daren Tate on the JODA synthwave album in 2022, Siljamäki revived his P.O.S. moniker for ‘Deeper Tales’, and McGuinness unveiled ‘Salt’, a collection of reimagined compositions.

Now, Above & Beyond reunites with longtime collaborator Zoë Johnston for the album’s first single, ‘Quicksand (Don’t Go)’, out March 21. Debuted during their Group Therapy 600 show in Mexico, the track captures the emotional depth and musical chemistry that define their most beloved songs. Johnston describes its lyrics as a reflection on grief and loss, aiming to bring comfort to listeners experiencing similar emotions.

The trio will celebrate the album’s release with a special performance at Brixton Academy. Meanwhile, pre-sale registration is open, with tickets available starting March 26 at 10 AM GMT. Additionally, fans can pre-order the album on vinyl, CD, and special editions via the Anjuna Music Store.
