Amelie Lens delivers sixth edition of EXHALE compilation: Listen
Amelie Lens is continuing to expand her label EXHALE and its compilation series. She has delivered 15 new techno tracks for the compilation’s sixth edition.
Renowned as a leading force in the recent renaissance of techno, Amelie Lens is much more than just a producer and a DJ; she is a curator of the industry, fashion and a supporter of fellow artists through her label and brand, EXHALE. Through the imprint, Lens curates live events, showcases resident artists, and even crafts must-listen-to compilations. She is now continuing that trend with the release of EXHALE VA006, featuring 15 incredible tracks curated by the Belgian star. Opening up with Nobody by SAILØ, the collection wastes no time in delivering peak-hour techno productions.
While the high-energy pulse of techno reigns throughout the project, Lens is careful to pull from artists who all offer unique voices within their tracks. As the collection pushes forward, fans are as likely to be confronted by face-melting basslines as they are to hear a warm vocal melody or smooth lead. Although Amelie Lens doesn’t feature herself on EXHALE VA006, the quality is by no means lacking. Artists such as Storm, Noemi Black, AKKI, Onelas, and all the others show why the genre is thriving in recent years. Getting to release volume 6, Lens said, “I am so so happy to finally release these amazing tracks! I’ve collected this incredible music from artists that I really believe in over the past few months and have been playing it in my sets on stages all around the world, so it was really about time to share it ahead of the summer.”
