Boris Brejcha released his ‘It’s a Free Friday Night’ ID: Listen

With the Ultra Music Festival fast approaching, more information and updates about the event are coming in. As one of the most anticipated events of the year, Ultra Records and the festival have released the Ultra Music Festival Compilation Album. Boris Brejcha, among many other huge artists, released It’s a Free Friday Night for the collection.

The German-born, Ludwigshafen am Rhein, better known as Boris Brejcha, will also be one of the performers at Ultra Music Festival 2025. Stylistically, fans of the techno genre will find a home during his sets. Throughout his career he has surprised his fans with many albums, the first one back in 2007, under the name “Die Maschinen Kontrollieren Uns”, and the last one in April last year. Almost six months before this date, an ID started circulating beginning around September 2023, which caught the attention of his audience. Back then, they called it It’s a Free Friday Night and released it under the same name on 7 March 2025. Boris also most recently released the title track Reflections back in February, producing it for his 2025 Reflections Tour.

The song, It’s a Free Friday Night, was released by Ultra Records, as part of the Ultra Music Festival Compilation Album in a partnership deal that is sure to further raise the excitement of fans just two weeks away from the 25th anniversary edition of the annual festival in Miami. Boris Brejcha has joined in, creating a track of just 3:39 in length within the minimal techno genre, weaving his usual energetic beats through the song alongside the mesmerizing rhythms. At Ultra Miami, Boris Brejcha will perform on the RESISTANCE stage on Friday, March 28.
