GRiZ makes long-awaited comeback with new EP, ‘GEMiNI’

GRiZ has officially returned to music with the surprise release of his newest EP, ’GEMiNI.’ “I HAVE MISSED YALL SO MUCH 🥲🥲🥲 ok— so— This feels reallllly good to say— I finally get to share new music w you!,“ says the superstar DJ in a recent post. 

The date was October 7th, 2023 when GRiZ signed off and began his hiatus from music. The highly beloved producer promised fans that he would return, but the date when that would happen was a mystery, it all depended on the right time for GRiZ. Well, the right time has finally come because he has officially announced his comeback to music after a nearly two-year hiatus with the surprise release of his newest EP, ‘GEMiNI.‘

With four tracks, GRiZ noted in a social media post that the project is a collection of songs that possess elements “from all across the universe of sounds [he’s] been traveling through.“ With songs such as ‘Found Your Love,‘ ‘Take Me Home,‘ ‘2-step Nassau,‘ and ‘Til the Color Fades,‘ you get the iconic funky GRiZ vibe but with some truly unique drops and breakdowns in which you can feel the creativity and newfound excitement oozing from the Denver-based producer. The EP is a great return; each song brings something interesting to the table, and you can see his new vision for his music.

Along with the EP, GRiZ announced the debut of his festival, ‘GRiZ presents: Valley Of The Seven Stars.‘ Billed as a “Cosmic Campout, “ it is a “reflection of [his] life’s work. A cumulation of everything [he’s] wanted to share.“ Taking place in Arlington, Virginia, from October 10th to 12th, tickets sold out in just minutes upon release.
