Home Interviews ARTÉ discusses main influences, releasing ‘With You’ and more: Interview

Blessing fans alike with each of his endeavours, ARTÉ provides us with a glimpse into his musical endeavours, with this interview being one that cannot go amiss.

Paving his own way within the dance scene, ARTÉ is the true embodiment of an act that has dedicated his life into mastering his craft to the utmost of perfection. Hailing from a distant galaxy in his own words, this artist to watch has set his sights on nothing less than global dominance, whilst his unique approach towards music production most certainly helps in him standing out from all the rest. A true visionary that lurks within the realms of house and techno, whilst fusing the intensity of these genre(s), we could not be any more intrigued, and of course, thrilled to be joined by the man of the moment, as he discusses; main inspirations and influences, the message he has set out to convey through his music, the release of ‘With You,’ adding his own touch to Kanye West’sI Am A God,’ future plans and so much more.

Hello and thank you for joining us! Could you provide us with an insight on the main inspirations/influences that led to your chosen career pathway in music?

“Thanks for having me! It all started many years ago when I was a little kid. My older brother had a huge influence on me, so I listened to whatever he was into. At first, it was mostly alternative and rock bands like Linkin Park and Metallica. But then, one day, I heard him playing ATB – Humanity and got completely hooked. That’s how I discovered trance—artists like ATB, Armin van Buuren, and Tiësto—and eventually, my taste expanded to all genres of electronic music. This music absorbed me because it felt like an escape from the real world, like a portal to a dreamworld where everything was more vibrant and exciting. At some point, I found myself producing music for endless hours—and that passion hasn’t faded to this day.”

Enriching audiences with each of your endeavours, we would like to know the message your music conveys, and the core values you strive to reach as an upcoming act within our community?

“I think we’re living in an era of self-exploration. Even though we’re advancing with AI and space travel, many of us still don’t truly know who we are or what we want—especially when it comes to our darker sides. In my music, I want to explore those hidden parts of our personalities. I believe it’s important to acknowledge and understand them.”

Blessing fans alike with the release of ‘With You,’ we would like to know the main thought process behind this production, as well as the deeper meaning behind it?

“I started working on With You’ in 2023, when melodic techno was just beginning to boom in the industry. I loved the sound, but sometimes it felt a bit too robotic to me, so I wanted to infuse it with that classic progressive trance warmth—something more human, more emotional. For me, this track is about uncertainty—a feeling I visualized in the music video with the stunning Icelandic beach scenes, where the waves crash in this endless, hypnotic motion.”

On a similar note, your remix of Kanye West’s ‘I Am A God’ has left a distinct mark in the dance scene. Could you talk us through the production process of this rendition, as well as the overall message it conveys?

“Kanye West is, in many ways, the biggest narcissist of our generation—so this track fits him perfectly. I wanted to amplify that “I am a god” energy with powerful techno beats, and it worked surprisingly well. Kanye’s vocals actually pair amazingly with techno! For the breakdown, I used this epic orchestral-choir section to give the track a cinematic, festival-ready feel—like something out of a movie soundtrack.”

With 2025 now in full flow, we would like to know what the future holds for ARTÉ, always in terms of new music, upcoming collaborations and live performances?

“I’m just getting started in the music industry, so I don’t have any live performances lined up yet. But I do have a lot of new music in the works—so stay tuned for what’s coming next!”

A fast-rising star indeed, we will most certainly be keeping a close eye on ARTÉ and all his future endeavours within the dance scene, but for the time being, you can stay fully up to date by following him on SoundCloud, Instagram and Spotify!
