Boomerang Hong Kong continues to earn recognition as premier club

The global dance scene has ignited the club circuit in new and exciting ways as DJs look to entertain crowds on every continent. With the rise of new spaces and talent, clubs such as Boomerang in Hong Kong are working to elevate the experience of guests and artists.

Initially opening its doors on Halloween night of 2020, Boomerang is located in Hong Kong’s iconic Lan Kwai Fong district and delivers an experience mirrored by the legendary Las Vegas spaces, complete with a Funktion-One sound system and elite lighting setup. This attention to craft and detail has consistently earned the space a ranking amongst the top 100 clubs worldwide, initially debuting at #98 during its first year before climbing to its current position at #40. With a slate of bookings including international stars such as Slander, Lost Frequencies, Meduza, Vini Vici, and more, it serves as a staple of Asian nightlife for electronic music fans.

Further enhancing the experience and the role that Boomerang plays in the club scene, it launched Distinct Records in 2023 to help curate new artists and sounds. Delivering a wide range of sounds, the label serves to further embed the club within the electronic music scene as it stays connected to the pulse of what fans are listening to while helping to drive new music back to the audience. The atmosphere and ethos of Boomerang itself were designed by famed artist Deejaykarlie with backing from John Rana of the Privé Group for investment purposes, helping the space reach its full potential. Now celebrating five years and cracking the global top 40 in club distinction, Boomerang is set to continue to entertain fans year after year.
