Coachella 2024: Do Lab Weekend One highlights and photos

Coachella always demands the attention of the entertainment industry as it brings together a wide range of performers in the California desert. Amongst the festivities, the Do LaB stage offers some of the most exciting and surprising performances throughout the weekend.

With a brand new footprint for the 2025 edition, Coachella’s Do LaB delivered a massive line-up of announced and surprise performers throughout the first weekend of the event. Friday, the first day of the event, saw DJ Pee .Wee, aka Anderson .Paak take the stage alongside two surprise performances. Bob Moses was the first surprise of the afternoon before Crankdat brought his dubstep sounds to close out the first night’s festivities. It certainly set things up for an incredible weekend as the surprises and massive performances kept coming.

Things kept going strong on Saturday as DJ performances from drag superstar Trixie Mattel and Blu DeTiger both brought an exciting collection of guests, including VINCINT, Linux, and Flavor Flav. The highlight of the night was certainly the surprise guest, which turned out to be Sara Landry Presents Blood Oath. The techno queen did not disappoint, and she outdid herself when fellow DJs Amelie Lens and Indira Paganotto joined her for a massive back-to-back set.

For Sunday, promoters kept the energy going strong at the Do LaB stage as Uncle Waffles, RUDIM3NTAL B2B Skepsis, and MK with special guest Becky Hill served as the regular scheduled programming. The night was once again closed out with a surprise set, this time delivering Zeds Dead to the desert platform. The legendary duo is coming off their recent full-length album, Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness, and they were a welcome addition to an incredible first weekend of music at Coachella.

The Do LaB stage serves as a teaser to next month’s Lightning In A Bottle festival, which is set to feature performances from Four Tet, Subtronics, John Summit, and many more. Before then, there is still another weekend of Coachella to experience, and promoters certainly will have even more exciting surprises for fans at the Do LaB stage.
