Hello and thank you for joining us! Could you provide us with an insight on the main inspirations/influences that led to your chosen career pathway in music?

“Music has always been a part of me. Some of my earliest memories are with my older brother, headphones on, vibing to Eminem and Dr. Dre until I discovered EDM and absolutely got lost in the melodies of Armin van Buuren and Tiësto. That’s when electronic music really clicked for me – it felt different, and it spoke to my soul. When I was around 14, I stumbled upon a Basshunter FL Studio tutorial on YouTube, and something just clicked. I downloaded the FL that same day and started exploring it, just pure curiosity and passion. For a while, music was just a hobby. But a few years ago, I was in a serious accident, one of those moments that made me reflect on everything. It made me ask myself what I’m truly here to do. After soul-searching, the answer became clear: music. Not just as a passion, but as a calling, it’s the answer to everything. Now, as H3RMES, my mission is to help people celebrate their lives and reconnect with themselves through music. That’s the foundation of everything I do — guided by three simple Greek words that define my purpose: zētō (to seek), mousikḗ (music), and agápē (love).”

Representing a fresh wave of house music artistry, we would like to know the origin of your style of play, as well as the signature sound you have set out to convey?

“It’s definitely been a journey discovering my own sound. Early on, I experimented with a lot of different styles, trying to find what truly resonated with me – not just sonically, but emotionally and spiritually. Over time, I found myself gravitating toward the rich grooves and the intimate vibes, emotional textures of the house music. What I’ve worked on is more than just a blend of genres — it’s a reflection of my personal journey, and my intention as an artist to build meaningful, spiritual connections through melody and rhythm.”

With versatility a key aspect in the dance industry, could you talk us through your approach towards music production, and how it will impact our community?

“For me, music is like water — it never stops moving. It flows, and constantly evolves. That’s the mindset I bring into every record I make. I don’t like being boxed into one genre or formula. I pull from different influences and let the music guide me. That versatility keeps my sound fresh, but more importantly, it reflects the energy of the dance community itself: dynamic, ever-changing, and deeply human. I think what I’m bringing to the table is something personal, something new — a sound that doesn’t follow trends, but instead evolves with purpose. That kind of fluid creativity is what I hope will inspire others and resonate with the community on a deeper level.”

Launching the H3RMES project less than twelve months ago, we would like to know any challenges you may have faced thus far, as well your own outlook on leaving a mark within the dance scene?

“Launching the H3RMES project has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life, and it hasn’t been without its challenges. The dance music scene as you know today is incredibly saturated — everyone’s trying to stand out, and it’s easy to get lost in the noise. For a while, the hardest part wasn’t creating the music, it was finding the right people to walk this path with — a team, a label, a family that truly understands the vision and believes in the long game. But I’ve always believed in following an inner guide — a voice that tells you when something feels right, even when the world isn’t watching. That’s what kept me grounded. I stayed focused on the sound, the story, and the purpose behind the project. That journey led me to connect with Like Mike, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the belief he and his team have shown in me. Releasing my debut record on his label was more than just a milestone — it felt like a sign that staying true to yourself does pay off. I’m proud to be a part of the label’s artist family, and even more excited about what’s ahead.”

Bringing the heat with your debut ‘Back To Me’ single, could you talk us through the main thought process behind it’s production, as well as the overall message it portrays?

“‘Back To Me’ is more than just a debut — it’s a personal statement. When I started working on the track, I knew I wanted it to carry real emotional weight. This track represents my journey over the past six years. I went through some deeply challenging moments — including a serious accident that nearly left me paralyzed, and the loss of my father. Those experiences reshaped me, stripped everything down to the core, and forced me to rebuild. ‘Back To Me’ is the sound of that rebuilding process. It’s about grief, resilience, and finding your way back to your true self. Music was the anchor that held me steady through it all. With this release, I wanted to channel those emotions into something others could connect with — because I know I’m not the only one who’s had to fight their way back.”

Releasing ‘Back To Me’ under Like Mike’s label, Green Room Records, as well as garnering his support, we would like to know the overall feel behind such recognition on your debut single?

“It honestly feels surreal. To have ‘Back To Me’ supported by Like Mike and released on Green Room is something I couldn’t have imagined a few years ago. I’ve been part of the dance music world since 2012 — I remember vividly when Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike dropped tracks like ‘Mammoth’ that completely shook the scene. I even saw them live at EDC in 2015, and that experience left a huge mark on me as a young fan and aspiring producer. So for my debut release to be hosted by someone I’ve looked up to for so long — it feels like a full-circle moment. It’s not just recognition; it’s a reminder that staying true to your path pays off. I’m incredibly grateful to Like Mike and the Green Room \ Smash The House team for believing in the H3RMES project from the start. This support means everything — and it fuels me to keep building and pushing the sound forward.”

With 2025 now in full flow, could you provide us with a further insight on what the future holds for H3RMES, always in terms of new music, upcoming collaborations and live performances?

“2025 is all about building momentum and solidifying H3RMES as a name with purpose in the dance music scene. I’ve been working relentlessly in the studio on new music — diving deeper into my sound and pushing boundaries with every track. There are some exciting collaborations in the works with artists who inspire me, and I can’t wait to share those with the world. Live performances are also a big focus this year. There’s nothing like that real-time connection with a crowd — it’s where the music truly comes alive. My goal is to create experiences that move people, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too, creating memories. This year, I’m not just releasing music — I’m inviting listeners into my journey. And I’m just getting started.”

Remarkable in every sense of the word, we will most certainly be keeping a close eye on H3RMES and all his future endeavours within the dance scene, but for the time being, you can stay fully up to date by following him on SoundCloud, Instagram and Spotify!
