Linkin Park drop new single ‘Up From The Bottom’, announce deluxe album release
Linkin Park have unveiled their latest single, ‘Up From The Bottom,’ marking another milestone in their comeback. The track arrives ahead of the ‘From Zero (Deluxe Edition),’ set for release on May 16 via Warner Records. This expanded edition includes three new songs and a physical release featuring five live recordings from their recent performances.
The band recorded ‘Up From The Bottom’ during breaks on their From Zero World Tour. The song blends commanding piano lines, distorted guitar riffs, and powerful drum beats, while Emily Armstrong and Mike Shinoda deliver gripping vocals: ‘You keep me waiting down here so far below, staring up from the bottom, up from the bottom.’ The track escalates into an unexpected fusion of turntable scratches, deep 808s, and one of Shinoda’s most striking rap verses, demonstrating the band’s signature genre-blending approach with renewed energy.
The anticipation surrounding ‘From Zero (Deluxe Edition)’ continues to build. Reflecting on the album, Shinoda shared, ‘We are so grateful for the incredible reception to From Zero. This next chapter and the connection with our fans have exceeded our expectations.’
Among the new tracks, ‘Let You Fade’ stands out with its crushing guitars and intense percussion, while ‘Unshatter’—written early in the album’s sessions—features Armstrong’s soaring vocals, capturing the band’s evolving sound.
