Martin Garrix reveals the support DJs for his ‘X’ residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza

Martin Garrix celebrates his 10-year residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza with a series of events every Thursday

Martin Garrix will perform every Thursday this summer at Ushuaïa Ibiza. It’s a big milestone for him, as this year marks the 10th anniversary of his first performance at one of Ibiza’s biggest clubs.

This year marks 10 years since Martin Garrix was David Guetta’s warm-up DJ in Ibiza. It was undoubtedly a big milestone for the then-up-and-coming DJ, as it was the first time he had the opportunity to experience the island’s vibrant feel. Later, the then 18-year-old producer launched his show, “Multiply”, every Friday from 3 July 2015. Now, the 10th-anniversary celebration show, “X”, announced back in February, will launch in a similar style. This year the performance will now start on 19 June and run every Thursday until 25 September. And for this event, Martin has now announced the support DJs who will help him throughout this long period.

He made this announcement in a multi-slide format, in a very touching way, as he illustrated it with memorable pictures. The list, which includes 48 individual producers and duos, can all be said to have been influential for Martin in some way, and gives a nice representation of certain periods in his career. Examples include Oliver Heldens and Justin Mylo, who will be backing up his current show, just as they did at his first show in Ibiza in 2015. One of the big opportunities, though, is RetroVision, who has long been a stalwart of Garrix’s label STMPD RCRDS and thanks to this will be performing in Ibiza for the first time.
