Michael Bibi returns with ‘Sungazing’ and launches One Life Foundation: Listen

After a two-year hiatus, Michael Bibi steps back into the spotlight with a heartfelt new release, ‘Sungazing (Electronic Mix)’, featuring the delicate voice and guitar work of Alexa Sunshine Rose. Seamlessly blending her folk influences with his trademark electronic production, Bibi crafts a moving reflection on resilience, healing, and hope.

In 2023, life took a sharp turn for Bibi when he was diagnosed with CNS lymphoma, a rare cancer affecting the brain and spine. As a result, he paused all performances to focus on recovery. However, by the end of the year, he shared that he was in remission, a moment that marked the beginning of his inspiring return.

Gradually, Bibi reclaimed the stage, first with a surprise appearance at DC-10 in Ibiza, and later by headlining major festivals like Coachella and Creamfields. By July 2024, he realized a dream born during his hospital stay—hosting the massive ‘One Life’ show at Finsbury Park, drawing 45,000 fans and raising over £124,000 for cancer research. Moreover, the ‘One Life’ tour has since expanded across Europe.

Adding another layer of meaning, proceeds from ‘Sungazing (Electronic Mix)’ will support the newly launched Michael Bibi One Life Foundation, aimed at transforming cancer care environments through art, music, and creative therapy.

Now, in 2025, Bibi continues to build momentum, performing worldwide and preparing to headline the much-anticipated ‘One Life London’ show on July 5.
