MYRNE delivers his beautiful ‘Heal EP’: Listen

Using his dazzling productions and creations to blur the lines between dance music and cinematic rhythms, MYRNE has returned with his latest collection of tracks. Across the ‘Heal EP,’ he continues to showcase his range and melodic sensibilities.

Having gained notoriety a decade ago with an early release via Mad Decent, Myrne caught the attention of industry heavyweights such as Martin Garrix, Tiësto, and Porter Robinson. Since then, the Singapore native has worked to expand his reach, having cultivated audiences worldwide while playing at such famed events as Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and Hard Summer. With a growing spotlight on his work and an upcoming summer tour alongside Sultan + Shepard, he has released his latest collection of melodic progressive house via the Heal EP.

Consisting of four tracks, the Heal EP opens with the title track produced alongside Shallou. It immediately sets the tone for the collection, providing a soft and ambient feel thanks to the vocals and melodies, while the percussion drives just enough to inspire listeners to get out of their seats and move to the rhythms. Next up, Salve opens with a pulsing bass lead and filtered percussion, more reminiscent of ’80s electronica than modern dance music, but MYRNE’s control and talent allow the track to evolve into a pulsing, dance-floor-ready groove. With the final two tracks of Heal, he showcases his full range of talents, embarking on an atmospheric journey via Light Through The Leaves before the driving eight-and-a-half minutes of Lily close out the collection.
