Steve Angello delivers stunning nature-inspired versions of ‘Darkness In Me’: Listen

Esteemed producer Steve Angello has re-imagined his own release, ‘Darkness In Me’, in honour of Earth Day.

Steve Angello has transformed his track, ‘Darkness In Me’ with Modern Tales, to create four nature-infused versions of the release for Earth Day. His production prowess has been brought to the fore once more, as he simmers down the original to create these enchanting new renditions. The re-imaginations have arrived as part of a project in which nature itself appears as a featured artist on various releases. In this instance, weather and nature soundscapes can be heard as an extra layer in his mix. The versions have therefore been suitably named after what you might hear – Skog (Forest), Regn (Rain), Vind (Wind) and Åska (Thunder).

This innovative project sees the royalties generated from these tracks contributed towards global conservation efforts. The likes of Amelie Lens, SYML and I. JORDAN have also laid down similar interpretations of their own music in this latest stage of the project led by the Museum for the United Nations.

Nature has accumulated over 130 million listeners as a featured artist and is sure to earn more with these stunning down-tempo edits of one of dance music’s hottest records. They have capped off a busy week for Steve Angello, who has also just dropped ‘No Enemies’ alongside fellow Swedish House Mafia front-man Sebastian Ingrosso.
