The Chainsmokers release remix of Chappell Roan’s ‘Pink Pony Club’
With their final remix before the start of their next album, The Chainsmokers have released an exhilarating remix of Chappell Roan’s ‘Pink Pony Club.‘
If you haven’t realized by now, The Chainsmokers have etched their name down in the books as one of the best remixing duos in electronic music. Getting their start by remixing indie songs, the Los Angeles-based producers have opened back up that chapter and have been releasing new remixes over the past 7 months. Their latest one is particularly special as it seems to be the last one before they begin the process of rolling out the next wave of original tracks and with the final entry they have taken on Chappell Roan’s smash hit, ‘Pink Pony Club.‘
Just like the other tracks, this is a love letter to The Chainsmokers fans who have followed them from the beginning. If you love the two’s sound based off of tracks such as their remix of Smallpools ‘Dreaming‘ or their own track ‘Until You Were Gone,‘ you’re bound to have a blast with this. The Chainsmokers take ‘Pink Pony Club‘ and give it an extra jolt of energy by raising the tempo. As you get into the drop, you’ll notice why the comparisons to the remixes a decade ago make sense as they return to that classic choppy synth sound. The remix caps off an impressive 11-track run of remixes where The Chainsmokers‘ creativity shined.
There has been no official announcement from The Chainsmokers on upcoming original tracks. However, you can expect it to happen as they posted a snippet of the remix on their story with the caption “Our last remix before game time.” The good thing about the two is when they start teasing new music, they do not make their fans wait long.
