With electronic music represented to its core during this years’ edition of Coachella, take a wider look into our top dance music moments from Weekend One.
Concluding what was an eventful Weekend One at Coachella, we will be taking a look at the top electronic music moments that unfolded throughout the first three days of this truly iconic event, and as expected, there was a fair share of core memories unlocked for everyone lucky enough to be attendance, or even through the live-stream for that matter. A stellar display of electronic music and its ever expanding reach, the genre we all love was represented the most, marking a 39% takeover of this years’ total lineup.
Boasting a wide variation of electronic music performances, it only makes sense that each featured act brought the heat in their own distinct way. From Keinemusik and their Afro-House rhythms at the Sahara stage, to Tïesto and Alesso’s monumental sets, and Mau P’s immense dance moves whilst on stage, Weekend One of Coachella has had us all grooving at every tun of the way. Moreover, Afrojack delivering a set for ages at the Heineken House, with Sara Landry debuting the full production of ETERNALISM to the awe of every spectator, and of course the girl power witnessed at the Do Lab through the joint performance of Landry herself, Amelie Lens and Indira Paganotto; marking yet another favourite moment of ours during Weekend One.
The ultimate of moments, and that’s when mentioning a mere few, everything from Zedd’s ‘Clarity’ live rendition, to Lady Gaga and Gesaffelstein’s performance, as well as a showdown of Deadmau5 classics, Weekend One of Coachella was for the books, and to our complete thrill, dance music was represented to its absolute core.
