Adam Beyer completes new EP with release of ‘The Distance Between Us’: Listen

Edging ever closer to the release of his first album in two decades, Adam Beyer has now completed a two-track EP for the ages, with ‘The Distance Between Us‘ arriving just shortly after the release of ‘Hypnotic‘ alongside HNTR and Kyozo. Contrasting in essence, both tracks will feature on Beyer’s ‘Explorer Vol. 1‘ album that is set for release on June 13th, with the body of work as a whole illustrating a new musical approach for the iconic Swedish act, and in turn, providing us all with a glimpse into the versatile and truly genius mind that he possesses.

A clear shift in Beyer’s artistic direction, ‘The Distance Between Us’ can be seen as the most unexpected of additions from the upcoming album, with a new wave of synth lines featuring prominently, making the track his “take on indie-electronic.” Having closed his sets at both Ultra Miami and Drumsheds with this track, Beyer continues to leave his own mark in the most distinct of manners, and with the excitement levels for what’s to come growing on the constant, fans alike are equally thrilled and intrigued for this new path Beyer has embarked on.

Out now, ‘The Distance Between Us’ completes this two-track EP alongside last weeks release of ‘Hypnotic,’ and as we eagerly await for Beyer’s first album in 20 years to be released next month, these two tracks, as well with ‘Explorer‘ that was released a little while back, have set the tone perfectly of what we can expect by this new artistic direction that Beyer has in store for us.
