Axwell continues to play new IDs live
The individual members of the Swedish House Mafia have been busy lately with their solo projects. Lately, Axwell has been dropping new IDs in his sets.
In recent weeks, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello have been busy rolling out a new label/management organization while delivering fresh new singles and performing sets worldwide. 2025 has been especially exciting for Axwell as he sold Axtone Records, made his solo debut on the Ultra Music Mainstage, and recently released a new single. As he continues to play out solo in recent weeks, he has played new IDs in most sets.
After recently playing out a new Swedish House Mafia ID during a recent set, he continued the trend when he took the stage at Horizon Lake Garda. Titled Whatever Turns You On, the track leans heavily into a groovy house rhythm complete with a smooth male vocal topline. Like all things Swedish House Mafia, the members are tight-lipped regarding any timeline for upcoming releases. Having recently started their own label, fans are hoping it will mean more consistent output from the group and its individual members.
Axwell will continue to spend the coming weeks on stages worldwide, and fans will be hoping to hear more new music. The Swedish House Mafia will be coming together again next for Tomorrowland this summer.
