Cassian has released his energetic track ‘SOS’: Listen

Cassian is back on John Summit’s label for the second time, this time with an energetic track, SOS

It’s been almost a year since Cassian debuted on Experts Only, and now he’s back to add to the label’s reputation with a new, excellent single. SOS can rightly be called energetic, as the producer is always a master of build-ups. The track is now available on most streaming providers.

About the debut

It’s a little hard to think how quickly almost a year has flown since Cassian’s debut on John Summit’s label. The Australian-born DJ Cassian has worked with many big artists over the years, including RÜFÜS DU SOL, Hayden James, and Anyma. And John Summit himself was no exception when, at the end of May last year, Cassian produced a remix of Shiver based on Hayla’s vocals. This remix not only marked his debut on Experts Only, but also one of the most-played tracks on Tomorrowland 2024. Now he has brought SOS to the label as his first self-release.

“Someone told me I look like the Easter Island statues, so at the start of the year, I went on a trip to check them out in the flesh. When I arrived, they started singing this song to me. I quickly recorded it and then was immediately possessed by a spirit who sampled it and produced it into ‘SOS’. So I guess it was a spiritual ghost producer.”, shared Cassian in a funny way.

About the track

The Grammy-winning DJ has already performed his new single several times on different stages, such as at Club Space Miami in early February, then, of course, only as ID. With this, Cassian meets expectations on this release and showcases the signature element of his work effectively. Such as his masterful construction of the rhythms with a dramatic flair. He samples the uncredited vocals on this before the track finally reaches the energetic bass lines. It’s fair to say, SOS shows clear potential to become a punchy summer hit. Cassian will also have plenty of opportunity to showcase it at his upcoming shows, as well as his debut Tomorrowland Mainstage appearance straight out of a Kevin de Vries b2b Cassian set.
