DJControl Mix Ultra debuts as first fully Wireless DJ Controller
Hercules has released the DJControl Mix Ultra, a compact controller that reimagines how DJs perform on the go. Built in direct collaboration with Algoriddim’s djay app, the device delivers a fully wireless experience tailored for mobile platforms. Following its Best of Innovation recognition at CES 2025, the controller officially debuted at the 2025 NAMM Show.
This launch reflects Hercules’ commitment to mobile-first design. Instead of requiring bulky hardware, the Mix Ultra uses Bluetooth LE for cable-free connection to iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices. DJs can now power extended sets through a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 10 hours—no wall sockets, no adapters, no hassle.
To support this new era of portable performance, Hercules kept the footprint small and the setup straightforward. The controller fits easily into a backpack and features a cover that doubles as a smartphone stand. Moreover, the Mix Ultra provides instant access to Algoriddim’s extensive streaming integrations—including Apple Music, TIDAL, SoundCloud, and Beatport—making it easier to mix anytime, anywhere.
Hercules also integrated Neural Mix®, allowing DJs to isolate stems such as vocals or drums with a simple touch. This feature enables real-time mashups without additional software or hardware. It comes unlocked for free with the controller, further expanding creative possibilities for mobile users.
To ensure beginners can quickly learn the ropes, Hercules partnered with DJ LiftOFF to produce a five-part video series now available on the Hercules DJ YouTube channel. These tutorials walk users through setup, mixing techniques, and smart streaming workflows.
Starting today, Guitar Center offers the DJControl Mix Ultra exclusively in the U.S., with pre-orders open globally. Pricing starts at €169.99 in Europe, £149.99 in the UK, $199.99 USD, and $299.99 CAD.
