EDC Las Vegas 2025 lit up the desert once again, delivering unforgettable moments under the electric sky. Here are some of our favorite highlights from the weekend!

EDC Las Vegas 2025 returned in full force to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, becoming the epicenter of dance music for three electrifying nights from May 16–18. The 29th edition of Insomniac’s iconic flagship festival brought together over 170,000 attendees daily, all united by a shared love for music, freedom, and connection under the electric sky. With multiple bigger-than-life stages, hundreds of art installations, and a massive lineup spanning the entire spectrum of dance music, the speedway turned into a rave dreamland that pulsed from sunset to sunrise.

Whether you were headbanging at bassPOD, floating through dark techno vibes at neonGARDEN, or soaking in the magic of kineticFIELD and circuitGROUNDS’ massive production, every corner of the festival offered a unique and unforgettable experience. And with Insomniac continuing to push boundaries in stage design, sound, and interactive experiences, EDC Las Vegas 2025 felt bigger, brighter, and more emotionally charged than ever before.

As the dust settles and the final beats echo in our memories, we’re left with a weekend full of standout moments — those heart-racing, jaw-dropping, soul-stirring highlights that define what makes EDC so legendary. Here are some of our most unforgettable memories from EDC Las Vegas 2025.

Deorro lights up day one with Los Tucanes de Tijuana and BOLO

Day one was already buzzing, but Los Angeles-based Deorro took things to a whole new level when he brought out the legendary Mexican band Los Tucanes de Tijuana for a massive crossover moment that had the entire crowd losing it. The fusion of Latin sounds with Deorro’s high-octane energy made for one of the most talked-about surprises of the weekend. To top it off, he introduced rising San Diego-based DJ/producer BOLO to the stage, giving him the spotlight in front of a packed crowd as they played their unreleased collaboration. It was a proud moment for the SoCal scene and set the tone for a weekend full of unexpected energy.

Gesaffelstein takes cosmicMEADOW into the Void

French artist Gesaffelstein made his presence known and felt for his debut EDC performance, transforming cosmicMEADOW into a dark, industrial abyss. With his signature blend of menacing techno and cinematic flair, the masked maestro captivated the crowd with a perfectly curated set that leaned into his mysterious aesthetic. Every drop hit with surgical precision, and his Vantablack visuals turned the entire meadow into a high-fashion dystopia. It was one of those sets that didn’t rely on hype — it just commanded attention.

Kaskade surprises with a techno twist at KineticFIELD

Kaskade returned to kineticFIELD with a set that caught many fans off guard — in the best way possible. While known for his melodic, vocal-heavy sound, Kaskade went noticeably deeper on day two, leaning heavily into techno. The set felt like a love letter to longtime fans, layered with pulsing rhythms, minimal builds, and dark grooves. It was a fresh direction that added a level of maturity to his performance, all while keeping the massive EDC crowd locked in from start to finish.

MEDUZA’s sunrise set ends day two in euphoria

As the sky slowly shifted from black to pale blue, MEDUZA delivered a sunrise set at kineticFIELD that felt like a dream. Their emotive house grooves paired perfectly with the first light of morning, creating a cinematic close to day two. Simone Giani, one third of the MEDUZA trio, dropped one emotional rollercoaster after another, blending signature tracks like ‘Lose Control,’ and ‘Edge Of The World’ with melodic IDs that had fans swaying and smiling through the early morning haze. If there was ever a more majestic and magical way to end a night at EDC, this was it.

Maddix turns up the heat at circuitGROUNDS

Day three was already moving at full speed, and Maddix only fueled the fire further. His relentless techno set at circuitGROUNDS was pure controlled chaos. With thunderous kick drums, fast-paced drops, and his signature mix of trance-tinged techno, Maddix had the crowd stomping like it was a European warehouse rave. The energy never let up, and his laser-sharp mixing proved that Maddix is quickly becoming one of the top names to watch in the hard-hitting side of the dance scene.

I Hate Models unleashes ‘Face II Face’ at circuitGROUNDS

When I Hate Models hit the stage with his “Face II Face” A/V experience, it felt like stepping into a fever dream. The French techno rebel held nothing back, delivering one of the most aggressive, emotionally charged sets of the weekend. His signature blend of raw industrial sounds, emotional melodies, and unforgiving kick drums shook circuitGROUNDS to its core. Backed by haunting, high-contrast visuals, the set was less of a performance and more of a statement — dark, bold, and unforgettable.

Drone-fireworks spectacle caps off night three in style

Right after Martin Garrix wrapped up his set, the sky above the Las Vegas Motor Speedway exploded into a dazzling fusion of fireworks and synchronized drones — an EDC tradition that somehow still manages to feel brand new every year (the drones this year even had fireworks attached to them). The coordinated aerial display lit up the night with massive bursts of color and choreographed drone formations that danced in time with the music. From glowing shapes to pulsating patterns, the show was a jaw-dropping finale that left ravers cheering, filming, and soaking in one last burst of magic under the electric sky. It was the perfect sendoff to an unforgettable weekend.

Armin van Buuren goes full speed at kineticFIELD

Never one to play it safe, dutch producer/DJ Armin van Buuren dove straight into the deep end with his kineticFIELD set — kicking off at 138 BPM and only ramping up from there. What followed was a masterclass in tension and release, blending pounding techno rhythms with trance melodies that felt perfectly built for the chaos of EDC. The crowd ate it up, riding every build and drop like a rollercoaster. Armin’s energy was unmatched, and his refusal to hold back made his set one of the most electrifying of the entire weekend.

Marlon Hoffstadt makes a euphoric U.S. Debut

German producer Marlon Hoffstadt made his long-awaited US debut at EDC 2025, and he did not disappoint. Blending trance, eurodance, and hardstyle with a modern flair, Hoffstadt’s set was a euphoric throwback and a future-forward trip all at once. His remix of Empire of the Sun’s ‘Walking On A Dream’ and tracks such as ‘It’s That Time’ sent waves of emotion through the crowd, with fans dancing and singing along in total bliss. It was a standout performance that left a lasting first impression for those unfamiliar with his game.

Side-questing through Downtown EDC and hidden gems

While the main stages drew massive crowds, some of the weekend’s most intimate moments came from unexpected side quests through Downtown EDC. Whether it was stumbling into the high-stakes energy of Casino EDC, vibing at the glow-drenched Blacklight Bar, or discovering intimate, high-energy sets from rising talents like San Diego’s Stedicam and Orange County’s BACKCOURT, the smaller stages delivered in a big way. These underground artists brought serious heat, proving that some of EDC’s most unforgettable experiences unfold when you wander off the main path and dive into a side quest.
