Nicky Romero dives into new territory with “Move It (Rapidin)”, a bold collaboration alongside Italian producer Giacobbi and Mexican-American artist Fatboi. Released via Municipal Recordings and Protocol Recordings, the track not only revives the 90s anthem “I Like To Move It” but also signals Romero’s first venture into Spanish-language music.

Although known globally for defining tracks like “Toulouse” and his collaboration with Avicii on “I Could Be the One”, Romero now shifts gears, blending Latin rhythm with his unmistakable dancefloor-ready energy. By reimagining the Reel 2 Real original with modern flair, he aims to bridge cultural gaps and generations alike. Meanwhile, Giacobbi, whose style leans into groove-laden house, brings his own layer of club sophistication, transforming the familiar hook into something fit for today’s global crowd.

Additionally, Fatboi’s bilingual flow injects a vibrant pulse into the track. Having already made waves in the Latin Tech House circuit with tracks like “Agáchalo” and “Mamaera,” the Houston native now lends his unmistakable charisma to the mix. Moreover, his recent appearances at EDC Mexico and Coca-Cola Flow Fest reflect a growing international presence that, in turn, aligns seamlessly with Romero’s expanding sound.

“I’ve always felt something special with South American crowds—the energy, the culture, the support,” Romero shared. “This record feels like a deeper step into that world.” With “Move It (Rapidin)”, that connection grows louder, stronger, and ready for the dance floor.
