Paul Kalkbrenner attacked by fan during live set at Elrow Town Madrid: Watch

In an unfortunate twist of events, legendary techno DJ and record producer, Paul Kalkbrenner, has fell victim of assault during his live set at Elrow Town in Madrid. Headlining the event that returned to the Spanish capital on May 1st, the German act was providing nothing less than the most scintillating of vibes, when a member from the crowd managed to jump on stage, and in a headlock manoeuvre, assault Kalkbrenner whilst he was performing. An assault that lasted a mere few seconds, the individual was quickly comprehended by the members on stage, and as one may expect, will now be facing the consequences of his actions.

An incident that was caught on camera, and now shared to social media, the assault left everyone in attendance in complete shock, and as the world further witnesses the incident, it comes to no surprise of why that would be the case. A totally uncalled and unprovoked reaction, assaults of such nature may be rare, but as we have just witnessed can happen at any given time, with security measures now put into scrutiny, and further questions asked on what can be done in order to avoid such occurrences in the near future.

Following the assault, the video footage captures Kalkbrenner’s reaction, and as expected, the pure surprise in his face is one that cannot go amiss. With the assaulter continuing his aggression whilst off the stage, the footage cuts off, and in turn, we can only await the official reaction from Kalkbrenner himself, the Elrow Team and of course the authorities once they are involved.
