R3HAB Samples Fatboy Slim’s classic ‘Right Here, Right Now’ in latest big room release: Listen
R3HAB has returned to Spinnin’ Records with a high-energy release tailor-made for the festival circuit. Titled “Right Here, Right Now,” the track reinterprets a legendary vocal line—originally from the 1995 film Strange Days and later popularized by Fatboy Slim – with a powerful, contemporary twist. Rather than relying on nostalgia, R3HAB constructs a forward-thinking production that begins with moody cinematic textures before plunging into a high-impact drop driven by muscular basslines and sharp synth stabs. Notably, this track has already made waves on massive stages, including Tomorrowland, where its crowd-tested energy confirmed its potency.
Reflecting on the process, R3HAB shared that the single had been carefully refined through months of performances: “This version came to life through countless sets and studio sessions. The crowd reactions helped shape the final sound. I’m proud to release it now, just in time for festival season.”
Over the past fifteen years, R3HAB – born Fadil El Ghoul – has built a career marked by both chart-topping hits and bold artistic choices. With over 12 billion career streams and more than 1.1 billion in 2024 alone, his influence continues to expand. From collaborations with Ava Max, ZAYN, and Luis Fonsi, to his global tours and performances at top-tier festivals like Ultra, Coachella, and Balaton Sound, R3HAB has become a defining figure in global dance music. Through it all, he remains committed to evolving his sound—track by track, stage by stage.
