Rony Seikaly delivers eclectic new ‘Mariposa EP’ via Stride Records: Listen

Rony Seikaly has released his latest body of work, the Mariposa EP, now available via his rising label Stride Records. Out since May 2, the three-track project captures Seikaly’s evolving approach to house music – merging emotional textures with precision-built grooves meant for the dancefloor.

Leading with the title track Mariposa, Seikaly pairs warm piano chords with a delicate vocal line, setting a rich, emotive tone. The momentum continues with Mami, where rolling basslines and crisp percussion build a hypnotic flow beneath a smooth, soulful vocal. The EP closes with New Day, a track that leans into restraint – guided by soft piano swells, tight drum programming and gentle vocal touches that add depth without overwhelming the mix.

This release follows a successful run for Seikaly, whose previous record landed in Beatport’s Top 20 and further cemented his reputation among today’s leading house producers. Meanwhile, Stride Records continues to position itself as a forward-facing imprint, spotlighting music that balances quality with originality.
