Sebastian Ingrosso celebrates one year of sobriety

The impact and influence of the Swedish House Mafia and its members, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello, can be seen throughout all areas of the electronic music landscape. As the trio continues to evolve both as a group and individual artists, they are entering new phases of their personal lives as well as their professional ones. For Sebastian Ingrosso, he began a new era of output late last year with the release of his hauntingly driving single, Flood.

When he released Floods, Ingrosso spoke of a new era for his mental state and art, and he has now revealed yet another piece of that personal journey, sobriety. In a new post on Instagram, Sebastian Ingrosso has shared that he is officially 1 year sober and celebrates all those who supported him on this journey. In the post, he writes, “One year sober today. It’s been the hardest year of my life, but also the most honest one. I faced myself, my demons, and the silence I used to run from. I chose to fight for my life, my family, and my future. And I’m still learning, still healing, still growing.”
