With her latest offering, Lizzie Curious is an incredible addition to the genre. Boom Rhythm is an undeniable club hit but also a great addition to any playlist that is built to keep the energy high.

The percussion steadily drives throughout, aided by the bright piano chords from Curious and hypnotic topline. Without sacrificing any energy, Lizzie Curious further pushes the production with laser-styled leads, a perfect addition and example of the modern evolution of this classic genre.

2. Kapuzen – Gimme Tha

There is certainly a mastery to keeping art simple. With the release of Gimme Tha, Kapuzen has delivered a perfect example of the power of this concept. Built around a ridiculously catchy lead melody, the repeated repeated feels timeless and fresh all at once. Instantly harking back to icons like Kraftwerk and more modern singles such as Polkadots by Afrojack, this takes the best of both worlds for a new classic.

Although simple, this is a track that demands attention. Between repeated pattern and continuous percussion, Gimme Tha never lets up throughout. When the aggressive yet powerful vocal sample jumps in with the track’s title, it is a perfect disruption to a perfect summer anthem.

3. Pan-Pot – Nightcode

For many, the summer months are meant to be a time of relaxation. Get away from the hustle of the office, holidays, and other daily routines and find a getaway. When looking to amp things up a bit, Pan-Pot are ready to go with the explosive new single, Nightcode. From the start, the track races with all the energy and excitement of a night out. This isn’t a wind down at all, this is built to keep the party going, no matter how late!

Want some upbeat production, massive female soul vocals, and all-around positive vibes? Eden Prince has delivered. The track is titled Is it Good and it doesn’t need a question mark at the end because it is good. Vocally, a female voice serves up the main topline, riffing and belting with precision throughout alongside a wonderful collection of harmonies and backing voices. Eden Prince combines all of this to deliver a track that is perfect for June.

5. Tony Romera – Time To Move

This feels both iconic and new all at once. The opening measures perfectly set the mood, encompassing decades of house music into one fresh new single. Tony Romera digs into his incredible knowledge of music and production to deliver this summer-ready smash, Time To Move.

Built around a groovy bass and synths, this song is pure positive energy, and the vocal topline tells listeners exactly what they need to do: move! The percussion races throughout, keeping the energy up while supporting the blinding synths, vocal samples, and bass line that permeate throughout.

Perfectly introducing and removing sounds, movements, and leads at just the right time, it is a two-minute injection of pure joy and energy. The limited vocal samples serve to amp up the crowd without distracting when at a more intimate event, trying to lift the vibes at a house party. Of course, if this comes on at the club, expect the crowd to turn up quickly!

Having served as the voice for Avicii’s iconic hit, Wake Me Up, Aloe Blacc is certainly immortal within the music world. Over a decade later, he joins forces with 2ŁØT, crafting a beautiful tale of immortality, love, growth, and life simply titled Immortal.
