Duke Dumont drops ‘I Need You Now’ ahead of new album: Listen

Duke Dumont returns with his first new music of the year, unveiling the soaring single ‘I Need You Now’. From the outset, the track draws on Dumont’s signature deep house aesthetic, merging soulful vocals, hypnotic basslines, and shimmering synth work. As a result, it captures both intimacy and urgency—crafted for summer festival climaxes and late-night club euphoria.

This new release sets the tone for Union, Dumont’s first full-length project since 2020’s Duality, now celebrating its five-year anniversary. While Duality marked a shift into album territory, Union expands the vision. Accordingly, Dumont blends classic dance textures with modern progressive elements, threading a deeper narrative of unity and connection throughout the album.

Alongside the music, Dumont’s calendar is filling up fast. This summer, he’s slated for headline performances at Creamfields, Day Trip, District 8, and Bittersweet. Then, in October, he returns to the UK for two back-to-back sold-out shows at Magazine, London and Victoria Warehouse, Manchester.

Now a decade removed from the breakout success of ‘Ocean Drive’, a platinum-selling single in seven countries, Dumont continues to chart new territory. His 2022 Coachella set signaled a new chapter, and since then, he has delivered immersive shows at Red Rocks, The Mirage, and beyond—incorporating custom visuals and dynamic stage design.
