VINNE talks latest DropWorks venture, releasing debut track ‘Need You Right Now’ for the platform and more: Interview
Teaming up with the next-evolution platform DropWorks on the release of ‘Need You Right Now,’ Brazilian DJ and record producer VINNE talks about this latest venture, the utility of its features, what the future holds and so much more.
Continuing his ascendancy within the dance scene in the most immersive of manners, VINNE has teamed up with DropWorks — the next-evolution platform built for music artists and fans — with the Brazilian DJ and record producer becoming the first act to release his latest track, ‘Need Your Right Now,’ on this groundbreaking initiative. Renowned for his unique approach towards music production, as well as his electrifying live performances, VINNE acts as the most fitting of artist(s) to venture within this new era of digital connection, and with DropWorks more than set on bridging the interactive gap between artists and their fans, this is one endeavour that we most certainly can get behind. With this said, we could not be any more thrilled to be joined by the man himself, as he provides us all with a wider outlook on DropWorks itself, the utility of its features, the production of ‘Need You Right Now’ specifically for this platform, the main focus and innovation behind this project, giving back to the fans in his own way, what the future holds and so much more.
Hello VINNE and thank you for joining us! Teaming up with DropWorks on your latest venture, could you provide us with an insight on this new platform, its connection between artists and fans, as well as what drew you to embracing this project?
“What drew me to DropWorks was how real it feels — finally, a platform that connects music and fans beyond streaming. This isn’t just about releasing a track, it’s about letting fans take part in the journey. They can now actually own a piece of the music, and that changes everything. The idea of turning a track into something fans can hold, trade, or even use — that’s powerful.”
Producing the debut track for the platform that will utilise its DropStocks feature, we would like to know the concept behind it, how fan ownership works, as well as your own view on what DropWorks has set out to achieve within our community?
“DropStocks are a new way to share music with fans. When someone owns a DropStock of my track, they’re not just listening — they’re holding a share of the royalties. That’s never been possible before at this scale. What DropWorks is doing is giving artists a new economy, and fans a new way to connect and collect — not just consume.”

Blessing fans alike with the release of ‘Need You Right Now,’ could you talk us through the main thought process behind its production, as well as the overall message this track has set out to convey?
“I wanted ‘Need You Right Now’ to feel immediate, emotional, and driving. It’s a melodic techno track that speaks to longing — the need for connection in the moment. That message really fits with what DropWorks is about: being present with music, not passive. It’s not just a song — it’s something you can be part of.”
A track specifically produced for the DropWorks platform, we would like to know how the decision came to be, the elements that make ‘Need You Right Now’ the perfect fit for this venture, as well as your thoughts on working alongside vocalist Lucas Medeiros?
“This wasn’t just another release. I built this track from the ground up for DropWorks. It had to carry energy, emotion, and purpose — because it would be the first DropStock on the platform. Working with Lucas Medeiros brought that human depth. His vocals gave it soul, and that’s what made it the perfect starting point.”
Focusing directly on the connection between artists and fans, could you talk us through the impact that DropWorks will have on you as an artist, as well as the significance of fans owning a piece of the art that you create through the DropStocks feature?
“DropWorks makes the artist-fan relationship personal again. When fans own a DropStock, they’re not just supporting me — they’re holding something that matters. That’s deeper than a stream or a like. It turns music into something real, something shared. I’ve always wanted fans to feel part of my path — now they really are.”

Committed to innovation within our scene, as well as setting the tone on what DropWorks can and will offer, we would like to know the deeper meaning behind this endeavour for you, and how beneficial these personal experience(s) can be going forward?
“Innovation matters — especially when it brings people closer to the music. DropWorks isn’t a gimmick — it’s a structure. It builds value for artists and gives fans access they’ve never had. For me, this is just the start. It’s about building something lasting, something that reshapes how music lives in the world.”
Giving back in your own way, 300 DropStocks of ‘Need You Right Now’ are up for grabs, and in turn, could you talk us through the significance of this giveaway, and what fans can expect when signing up for the DropWorks platform?
“The support has been unreal. Seeing how fast people connected with the track and with DropWorks — I knew I had to give back. That’s why I’m giving away 300 DropStocks of ‘Need You Right Now’ to the first 300 fans who sign up. It’s a way to say thank you, and a way to let them truly own a piece of this release.”
A platform that will revolutionise our community in more ways than none, we would like to know your vision on what the future holds, in terms of future releases and fan experiences through DropWorks?
“This is just the beginning. I see DropWorks becoming the new home for independent drops, exclusive fan rewards, and artist-curated experiences. With features like the Portfolio Marketplace and Event Marketplace, it won’t just be about music — it’ll be about everything we build around it. It’s the kind of platform I’ve been waiting for.”
