Alan Walker brings out Darude during Tomorrowland set
Tomorrowland 2025 has certainly been one of the most unique events ever, as the production team worked overtime to adjust the Mainstage following a massive fire. With the first weekend in full force, Alan Walker delivered an incredible set highlighted by celebrating 25 years of one of dance music’s most endearing classics.
With the burnt ruins of the original Mainstage overlooking the replacement production, the biggest stars in dance music are proving that Tomorrowland and the dance music scene can endear anything. Day 2 of the annual festival in Boom brought Alan Walker to the stage as he donned his iconic mask while playing and delivering his massive catalog of hits. During his set, he looked back 25 years and delivered a fresh remix of the iconic hit Sandstorm and even brought Darude to the stage for the moment. Despite having reached mass appeal over two decades ago, the hit and the presence of the Finnish producer sent the crowd into a frenzy.
The joy is palpable from both the artists and the crowd when the legendary lead of Sandstorm blasted through the speakers at Tomorrowland. With the added elements from Alan Walker, the track continued to feel fresh while never losing the elements that make it such a classic. Especially following the tragic fire earlier this week, moments such as these are great reminders of the power of music and the magic and allure of Tomorrowland.
