With Tomorrowland just around the corner, Charlotte de Witte is set to break new ground at the festival’s 19th edition. On Saturday, July 19, the Belgian techno powerhouse will become the first artist to both open and close the iconic Mainstage on the same day – a momentous feat that cements her as a defining figure in electronic music.

Back in 2011, Charlotte de Witte first appeared on the Tomorrowland Mainstage after winning a local DJ contest. That set marked the beginning of her global rise. Then, in 2022, she made history again as the first techno and female artist to close the Mainstage. Now, in a powerful full-circle moment, she prepares to deliver both the opening Daybreak set and the closing performance, providing a seamless sonic journey from start to finish.

As anticipation builds for this year’s ‘Orbyz’ edition, Charlotte de Witte shared her excitement: “Back in 2011, opening the Mainstage changed my life. This year, I’ll be doing it again – but also closing it on the same day. It’s a 360 experience and I can’t wait to see everyone there twice.”

Tomorrowland returns July 19–21 and July 26–28 to the stunning De Schorre grounds in Boom, Belgium. With a lineup stacked with top-tier talent, Charlotte de Witte’s dual performance promises to be one of the weekend’s most unforgettable highlights. You can find more information here.
