This new release also marks Don Diablo’s debut on the iconic Sweat It Out imprint. Anchored by the wry vocal “The devil works hard, but the DJ works harder,” the track rolls out with stripped-back intensity, channeling the raw energy of classic house parties and UK garage floors. From the jump, it captures a sense of late-night urgency while staying sleek and deliberate in its production.
Importantly, this track arrives on the heels of Don’s unexpected collaboration with Nelly Furtado, reinforcing his commitment to experimentation without sacrificing club impact. With The Devil Works Hard, he and Tseba deliver a no-frills groove that’s both timeless and forward-facing.
