Chaos broke out on the first day of Ozora Festival 2025 in Dádpuszta, Hungary, after a fire tore through a section of the marketplace on July 25. The incident began early in the afternoon when flames erupted at an Asian food kiosk near the main stage, reportedly due to an overheated gas cylinder that ignited cooking oil. Despite immediate efforts to contain the fire with extinguishers, the blaze escalated rapidly.

As flames spread to neighboring stalls, tents, trailers, and vehicles, propane-butane cylinders triggered multiple explosions, amplifying the destruction. Over 250 square meters of the festival site sustained significant damage, according to local reports and witness accounts.

Meanwhile, Ozora Festival organizers issued a public statement acknowledging the devastation and pledging direct support to the vendors impacted. Among those who lost their entire setups were Plazmalab, Indian Project, and Magic Dress Stand—all long-standing members of the global psytrance community. The statement emphasized that the loss went beyond material damage, describing it as the erasure of years of creative work, artistic expression, and cultural contribution.

To help these artists recover, the festival has therefore encouraged its worldwide audience to contribute through dedicated GoFundMe campaigns. In response, each affected shop has launched its own fundraiser, with donation links now available via the festival’s bio.

Ultimately, the Ozora community, known for its unity, is now being called upon to help restore what was lost.
