Steve Angello delivers new ID at Ultra Europe
As fans await the return of the Swedish House Mafia to the stage later this month at Tomorrowland, its members have stayed busy with their releases and live performances. Taking the stage at Ultra Europe, Steve Angello previewed an exciting new ID to the fans in attendance.
Before closing out his performance at Ultra Europe, Steve Angello addressed the crowd, stating, “I just finished this on the way here, so it’s always scary to play some new music, but let me see your hands in the air.” With the recent creation of their imprint, SUPERHUMAN, the individual members of the Swedish House Mafia appear to be as busy as ever as they embark on version 3.0 of the iconic group. For Steve Angello, despite no further comment or confirmation, this new track appears to be another solo endeavor, harking back to his debut solo album, Wild Youth.
The new track is a massive and very bright production, with a flute-like lead serving as the main instrument in the drop. The members of the Swedish House Mafia have rarely been afraid to test out new tracks live, but they are very meticulous in regards to actually releasing the final productions. As he claimed from the stage, Steve Angello had just finished the track on the way to Croatia, so he may make additional adjustments in the coming days and weeks. Check out the footage from Ultra Europe above, and fingers crossed, there will be plenty of new music debuted when Angello is joined by Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell next week at Tomorrowland.
