Tai Woffinden returns to Forestland Festival with new music and a renewed focus

Triple World Champion Tai Woffinden stands out as one of Forestland’s most unique acts. While a speedway racer might seem an unlikely addition to the lineup, this isn’t his first appearance. In fact, Tai returns for a third time, bringing not just his racing legacy but his love for music, performance, and adrenaline to the Croatian festival.

Over the past few years, Tai Woffinden has built a name for himself in music, backed by Armada Music and a passionate fanbase. After recovering from a severe accident that left him with multiple fractures, dislocations, and even time in a coma, he now channels his energy into music. “I was in an induced coma after suffering many broken bones in a heavy accident. Rehab is slow and long, but I need to look forward. I’m happy to return to Croatia, to Forestland once again!”

His entry into the music world came unexpectedly. After seeing Fisher perform in Perth, Tai felt inspired. Rather than hesitate, he enrolled in a DJ course and began producing. That determination soon led to collaborations with names like Gabry Ponte, Oliver Heldens, and Mauro Picotto. The process, as he describes it, came naturally—one track shared, one connection made, and a new release already lined up for July 4th.

Though speedway and techno seem far apart, Tai sees strong parallels between the two worlds. Both demand stamina, travel, and a thrill for performing. These days, he finds that techno and tech house best express his energy. With unreleased tracks and a sharpened focus, Tai embraces music fully, setting racing aside—at least for now.

Forestland 2025 marks its 13th edition this summer in the lush setting of Međimurje County. The festival welcomes acts like Baby Lasagna, DJs from Mars, The Shapeshifters, Thoai Nghi, Mike&Me, and many more. Joining Tai Woffinden will be UK talents like Ryan McDermott and other international artists, ensuring another memorable edition of one of Croatia’s longest-running festivals.
