Tomorrowland cancels Israel’s DJ Skazi’s set amid ‘security concerns’
Tomorrowland confirmed the cancellation of Israeli DJ Skazi’s scheduled performance, citing security considerations. The decision followed increased attention and controversy surrounding the artist’s past public support of the Israeli military. While Skazi had initially remained on the lineup, the situation evolved rapidly ahead of his planned set on the Freedom Stage. As reported by The Times of Israel and other outlets, the festival prioritized safety concerns amidst rising tensions and potential backlash.
In a statement shared on his Instagram Stories, Skazi addressed the cancellation, citing “security considerations” and Tomorrowland’s commitment to “spreading only love and music.” He emphasized his priority to maintain a safe, positive environment and reiterated his message of “unity, joy, and mutual respect,” thanking fans for their ongoing support.
