While speaking with Brian Fink of America's Dance 30 podcast, David Guetta was asked what current music has him most excited. In the clip, he reveals that the recent Calvin Harris mega-hit Blessings is among his favorite tracks. A highly infectious, piano-driven single, the smooth vocals of Clementine Douglass make for an insatiable listen. In the interview, Guetta his love for the track and how he wishes he had thought of the hypnotic production and festival-ready chorus. After gushing over the tracks, he also reveals that he texted Harris, congratulating him on the release and singing his praises. He then dives deeper into the relationship between the two superstar producers.

When it comes to the crossover from underground clubs to mainstream success, few deserve more credit than Calvin Harris and David Guetta. Their infectious hooks and A-list collaborations made them mainstays on the charts and saw them competing with pop stars for spins and airplay. During the talk, Guetta reveals how many promoters at clubs and Ibiza used to often pair him with Harris for events, a situation that the two DJs would laugh at while wishing for some separation between their two careers because of the similarities in their sound and style. Despite this somewhat awkward arrangement, the two remain close friends, and it is clear from the clip that David Guetta has the utmost respect and admiration for everything Calvin Harris does.
