Depeche Mode will bring their concert film ‘M’ to audiences around the world this October, following its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year. Beginning on October 28, fans can experience the film in limited cinema and IMAX screenings, offering an immersive look at the band’s live shows and their deep connection to Mexican culture.

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Fernando Frias, the feature goes beyond the stage, exploring themes of death and mortality through the lens of Mexico’s rich traditions. Lead singer Dave Gahan described the project as “about the deep connection between music, culture, and people,” praising Frias for capturing the spirit of their Mexico City performances.

The film documents three sold-out nights at Foro Sol Stadium in September 2023, part of the band’s global tour supporting their 15th studio album ‘Momento Mori’. The release carried extra emotional weight as it marked their first album since the passing of co-founder Andy Fletcher the previous year.

Adding to the anticipation, tickets will go on sale September 17, giving fans the chance to witness a rare cinematic presentation of the band’s artistry. The project follows last year’s release of the music video for ‘Before We Drown’, directed by longtime collaborator Anton Corbijn, further underscoring the group’s continued creative momentum.
