Don Diablo makes his Monstercat debut with ‘Amsterdam’ under his CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ alias, ahead of a major hometown return.

Fresh from a packed North American tour, Don Diablo shifts gears with the release of ‘Amsterdam’—his first track under CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ for Monstercat. Although best known for his futuristic house sound, this new cut leans heavily into cinematic breaks, gritty grime, and a raw, distorted vocal that sets it apart from his usual catalog. Still, every layer feels deliberate-melodic yet bold—perfectly aligning with the Canadian label’s progressive ethos.

This bold sonic pivot arrives just as Don Diablo announces his return to Amsterdam, where he’ll perform at Paradiso on September 19. It marks his first club show in the city since his 2018 sellout at AFAS Live, trading arena-scale production for something more intimate and emotionally charged. Notably, he describes ‘Amsterdam’ as a personal tribute to his hometown and “his favorite CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ record so far.”

As his summer heats up, Don Diablo continues to hit major milestones. He’s celebrating a decade of HEXAGON, fresh off a collaboration with Nelly Furtado, and a release via Sweat It Out. With festival dates locked in across Sziget, Untold, and Medusa, plus more Ibiza and Barcelona shows ahead, his creative evolution remains in full flight.
