Ibiza Airport continues to set new benchmarks for summer travel. In July alone, the airport handled 1,446,589 passengers, marking a 0.9% increase compared to the same month last year. The figures extend the steady growth seen throughout 2025, with traffic now up 1% over the first seven months of the year.
According to AENA (Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea), the majority of travelers – 1,443,755 in total—flew on commercial services. Of these, 480,372 passengers traveled on domestic routes, reflecting a slight 0.8% decline, while 963,383 passengers chose international connections, representing a 1.9% rise year-on-year.
When it comes to international demand, the United Kingdom remained the leading market, accounting for 329,048 passengers. Italy followed with 207,532 travelers, and Germany contributed 107,961 passengers, reinforcing the island’s popularity across Europe.
Aircraft movements also reflected this upward trend. Ibiza recorded 13,232 flights in July, an increase of 1.1% compared to 2024. Out of those, 12,376 flights corresponded to commercial operations, highlighting the strong pull of both domestic and international tourism.
With August traditionally the busiest month for the White Isle, these numbers reaffirm Ibiza’s position as one of the Mediterranean’s most in-demand summer destinations. For airlines and tourism operators alike, the ongoing rise in passenger traffic signals yet another record-breaking season on the island.
