Iceland will host an epic four-day festival to celebrate next summer’s total solar eclipse

The festival brings together an eclectic mix of music, art, science, wellness, and technology. In addition, global and local acts such as Meduza³, Booka Shade, Nightmares on Wax, Emilíana Torrini, and GusGus will perform live music. Simultaneously, speakers from NASA, ESA, SpaceX, Blue Origin, Virgin Galactic, and visionary thinkers will offer immersive talks that enrich the experience.

Furthermore, festivalgoers can choose to stay in private accommodation or local rentals in Hellissandur, known as Iceland’s “Street Art Capital.” Alternatively, they can opt for onsite camping or glamping to fully immerse themselves.

Co-created by IMXP and Secret Solstice, the event aims to unite Icelandic culture with global communities while reimagining traditions linked to eclipse gatherings. As Fred Ólafsson, founder of Secret Solstice, notes, “This partnership is a chance to co-create something truly memorable for both Icelanders and the global community during one of the most extraordinary celestial events of our time.”
