Kid Cudi releases 13th studio album ‘Free’: Listen
Kid Cudi has released his 13th studio album, ‘Free,’ marking a new creative chapter for the Grammy-winning artist. The project arrives with a full tracklist of 13 songs, including previously released singles ‘Neverland,’ ‘Grave,’ and most recently, ‘Mr. Miracle.’
Cudi first introduced the era with ‘Neverland,’ a single paired with a short film of the same name directed by Ti West and produced by Monkeypaw Productions, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. He then expanded the rollout with ‘Grave,’ supported by a striking video shot by Samuel Bayer, the award-winning director behind iconic clips for Nirvana, Blind Melon, and The Rolling Stones. Earlier this week, he unveiled ‘Mr. Miracle’ while joining Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s New Music Daily Radio to discuss the album’s vision.
Moreover, ‘Free’ follows a landmark year for Cudi. In 2024, his breakthrough single ‘Day ‘N’ Nite (nightmare)’ earned RIAA Diamond Certification, making his debut album Man on the Moon: The End of Day the first 2000s hip-hop record to achieve multiple Diamond singles. He also released his ninth studio album, INSANO, and its expanded edition NITRO MEGA, which earned widespread acclaim and secured his seventh Top 20 debut on the Billboard 200.
With ‘Free,’ Kid Cudi continues to merge music, film, and storytelling into one cohesive vision, cementing his reputation as one of the most innovative artists of his generation. Stream the track on Spotify below or via your preferred platform here.
