A cherished Avicii demo from Ultra Miami 2016 – originally titled ‘Loving Feeling’, written alongside Cazzette and The High – has returned, fully reimagined as a euphoric dance anthem. The track, which debuted during Avicii’s set without ever receiving an official release, now arrives in a polished, studio-ready form.
Nearly a decade later, the rework has been completed by The High (a.k.a. Jonas Wallin), Helion, Alex Brazi, and Thomas Irwin. Their version blends alluring vocals with soaring festival-ready production, offering both nostalgia and a modern twist to one of Avicii’s most beloved unreleased tracks.
Importantly, the new edition includes no original Avicii production elements. This decision preserves the memory of his work while breathing contemporary energy into a melody fans had long cherished through live recordings and bootlegs.
“The song always held a special place in my heart,” The High shared. “Our edit remains true to that 2016 idea, and I still love it.”
Ultimately, this release bridges Avicii past with today’s dance landscape. It allows longtime fans to relive a poignant moment from his legendary Ultra set, while also introducing new audiences to a piece of EDM history brought back to life for 2025.
