Marquee Nightclub set to mark next chapter with complete renovations in New York and Las Vegas
One of the United States’ most popular and prestigious clubs, Marquee Nightclub, is set to reopen its doors in both locations with renovations to push the venue into a new era.
The Tao Group has just announced that one of its most marketable and highly revered venues, Marquee Nightclub, will finally be reopening its doors to the public in both its locations. First, in New York, the new chapter for Marquee will begin in September as the venue celebrates its third renovation in 22 years. Then shortly after, the Las Vegas location will welcome guests starting in October.
Both grand re-openings are promised to be more than just a renovation, but a complete renovation of the well-known nightclub. Each Marquee location was designed to highlight the tone of the nightlife in its respective city in a fresh way that will attract the biggest DJs in the industry.
Designed in partnership with Jack Hotho, according to a press release, the New York space will be “both a tribute to the original Marquee and a forward-thinking update.”With a music-driven mindset for the renovation, the club will now feature an upgraded LED system, immersive visual technology, and a more expansive dancefloor. So far, the lineup for Marquee New York includes some of the genre’s best, such as Steve Aoki, Kaskade, Oliver Heldens, Francis Mercier, Chris Lorenzo, Elderbrook, and more.
The Las Vegas location is famously inside the Cosmopolitan, and attendees will notice a dramatic transformation of the main room of the legendary multi-level venue. With next-generation audiovisual technology, including a 1.5-ton monolith LED screen, a moving LED centrepiece, and an enhanced lighting and laser rig to bring a festival-style production to the room, Marquee will instantly compete for the best club on the Las Vegas strip. Guests of the Las Vegas location will also be treated to an impressive lineup as soon as doors open, with artists such as Fisher, Alesso, Steve Aoki, Pauly D, Loud Luxury, Benny Benassi, Cedric Gervais, Claptone, and more.
“Marquee has always been synonymous with energy, music, and unforgettable moments. It’s more than a nightclub, it’s a cultural touchpoint that’s evolved with the times while staying rooted in the pulse of nightlife. With these remodels, we’re honoring the legacy of the brand while elevating every detail to meet the evolving expectations of our guests.”
