Robin Schulz, Steve Aoki & LAWRENT unite on thunderous club cut ‘Bloodtype’: Listen

After years of festival crossovers and backstage hangs, Robin Schulz and Steve Aoki have finally stepped into the studio together. Today, they release ‘Bloodtype’ – a high-octane club weapon crafted alongside rising London-based talent LAWRENT. With this track, the long-anticipated collaboration explodes into reality.

From the outset, Schulz pivots toward his darker, more electronic instincts. Following May’s ‘Freaking You Out’ with NERVO, he doubles down on high-intensity soundscapes. At the same time, Aoki injects his trademark chaos, while LAWRENT brings sharp production finesse. Together, they build a storm of blaring basslines, surging synths, and distorted noise that constantly threatens to collapse – yet always holds its ground.

Meanwhile, the vocal topline anchors the madness. “Imma give you my bloodtype / Baby, you’re just my bloodtype,” the hook pulses, channeling the adrenaline of a fleeting nightclub connection. The voice rides the edge – cold, confident, and just detached enough to feel dangerous.

Already a fixture in Schulz’s sets across Tomorrowland, Parookaville, and Electric Love, ‘Bloodtype’ drops in sync with his packed summer tour, including his residency at Pacha Ibiza. Backed by names like Icona Pop, Topic, and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, he keeps the momentum surging. The track is out now via Warner Music.
