STVG has unleashed a massive remix of SVDDEN DEATH’s “Laughing Track,” featured on VOYD 2.5 (Part III). Known for his uncompromising sound and industrial edge, STVG takes one of SVDDEN DEATH’s most stripped-back tracks and turns it into a punishing wall of noise that refuses to hold back.

The original’s sparse framework is torn apart and rebuilt with sharp, distorted synths, relentless percussion, and the twisted laugh sample that first gave the track its menacing character. Rather than relying on restraint, STVG dives headfirst into maximalism with this remix, delivering a version that feels chaotic, brutal, and alive all at once. As STVG shares:

“It was such an honour to create a remix for SVDDEN DEATH. As soon as I was notified about being on the list of artists to be featured, I instantly knew I wanted to do ‘Laughing Track.’ There’s something so charming to me about that original track. I’m a big advocate for maximalism, I definitely wear that on my sleeve when it comes to my production and because the original track is so simple, it gave me a lot of creative freedom. I love the juxtaposition between the simplicity of the original and the brutality of my take on it. SVDDEN DEATH and I have discussed writing something together a few times and I think this remix is a good sign that we’ll make a crazy song.”
