A State of Trance unveils first names for 2026 25th anniversary in Rotterdam

A State of Trance (ASOT) has revealed the first wave of artists for its landmark 25th anniversary edition, set to take place on February 27–28, 2026 at Rotterdam Ahoy. Curated by Armin van Buuren, the world’s leading trance event will celebrate a quarter-century of uniting fans through music with its most ambitious edition to date.

The initial lineup sets the tone for a historic weekend. Fresh off their explosive debut at Ultra Music Festival 2025, Armin van Buuren, Oliver Heldens, and Maddix will unite for a rare b3b set. Iconic duo Cosmic Gate bring their signature energy, while Dutch heavyweights Benwal and Tjade add cutting-edge sounds. They’ll join a powerful roster that also includes Estiva, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Korolova, Laura van Dam, and Mauro Picotto.

Of course, the highlight comes when Armin van Buuren delivers his exclusive five-hour “time travel” set, taking fans on a journey through 25 years of ASOT classics and unforgettable milestones. He blends solo moments with special back-to-backs, ensuring the performance becomes one of the most talked-about in ASOT history.

As always, ASOT will feature multiple rooms, forward-thinking production, and a mix of legends and new talent. “This isn’t just another festival, it’s a celebration of everything we’ve built together over 25 years,” said Armin. “From classic trance to new sounds, ASOT 2026 will be about uniting everyone who loves this music.”
