Anyma makes appearance at GRAMMY Museum: Watch
On Tuesday night, Anyma participated in an exclusive talk with the GRAMMY Museum, talking all about his album, upcoming projects, creative process and more.
On Tuesday night, Anyma headed to the GRAMMY Museum for a rare talk alongside Variety’s Senior Music Writer Steven J. Horowitz, at the 200-capacity Clive Davis Theater. Talking about his groundbreaking Sphere residency, latest album and much more, we got some rare insight into his upcoming projects too.
Speaking of the upcoming show at the Great Pyramids in Egypt, he said:
“The idea is that there is going to be two stages. So I built this concept where there’s two stages, and there’s the Quantum stage and the Genesys stage. I’m going to be performing on both. So the first set will be no visuals, and a pyramid and installation following that, the Quantum installation with the cables and stuff. On the other side there’s a big screen, so I guess no one is going to be upset or complain.”
When he was asked when the RÜFÜS DU SOL collaboration would be dropping, Anyma jokingly said ‘Ah, so we’re not ending on a high note here!”, before going on to say:
“The truth is, I think all of us – meaning me, the RÜFÜS boys which are my really good friends – feel the pressure now. You guys put so much on this song, we don’t know what to do with it anymore. No, I’m joking. With artists such as me and RÜFÜS we’re on a mission, we have our plans, they have their plans. Both plans are really being executed on a high level and we feel good about it, and I think its going to intersect at one point where this record feels right and sits right.”
